MUNICIPAL BY-LAW ENFORCEMENT
CFA Certified Aromatherapy Professionals
CFA Professional Aromatherapists have been experiencing challenges within some Ontario Municipalities’ by-laws. Many body rub workers have masqueraded as holistic practitioners in Ontario because holistic licenses are much cheaper than adult entertainment licenses. The CFA has worked diligently with representatives from the municipal town councils to recognize CFA Certified Aromatherapy Health Professionals as distinct and separate from body rub parlours and clearly define the difference between CFA Professional Members and body rub parlours.
To this end, the CFA has compiled an information package for distribution to the Municipality’s Manager of By-laws & Licensing and Town clerk. This package was put together to educate Municipalities about the CFA, the practice and benefits of Aromatherapy and to represent the CFA’s Certified Professional Members as a growing, self-regulated, effective holistic organization that deserves recognition as its own entity within Municipal by-laws.
